Leonid Slutsky:

“The relevance of the interstate complaint of the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office to the ECHR against the actions of the Ukrainian authorities is becoming more and more obvious, especially in the light of the latest statements by the so-called language ombudsman of Ukraine Taras Kremen. TV channels for broadcasting films in Russian, including such films that threaten Ukrainian statehood as the film “Guest from the Future” and the cartoon “The Fox and the Hare.” Alisa Selezneva certainly would not want such a future.

Today, Flint called on Ukrainian athletes and members of the delegation at the Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo to speak with journalists in Ukrainian, justifying this by the fact that there is an armed conflict in Ukraine … Nonsense and total censorship.

In the meantime, a law on indigenous peoples, to which Russians, according to its provisions, do not belong, came into force in Ukraine on Friday. But Crimean Tatars, Karaites, Krymchaks will be recognized as such. That is – and I have already spoken about this more than once – a provocative line on the revival of nationalist ideology is consistently consolidated (already legislatively) in Ukraine. In the neighboring country, the rights of not only the Russian-speaking population, but also Hungarians, Poles, Romanians, Belarusians, Moldovans, Greeks, Slovaks and representatives of other nationalities are infringed upon.

The claim of the Prosecutor General’s Office must necessarily be considered by the Strasbourg court and entail a proper assessment of all human rights violations by the Kiev regime. And this must be done as quickly as possible, the nationalist flywheel in Ukraine is gaining momentum every day more and more. “
