The State Duma sends a delegation of observers to the parliamentary elections in Venezuela. The Duma Council made a decision on Wednesday, November 25, Leonid Slutsky, chairman of the international affairs committee, told reporters.

“The delegation of the State Duma, sent to participate in the observation of the parliamentary elections in Venezuela, will be headed by the vice-speaker of the chamber Igor Ananskikh (SR). It will include Maxim Zaitsev (LDPR), Vladimir Blotsky (Communist Party of the Russian Federation), and Farit Ganiev (United Russia). The mission is formed on an inter-factional principle,” Slutsky said.

Elections to the National Assembly of the Bolivarian Republic will be held on December 6, the head of the committee added.
