Leonid Slutsky: “The West continues to whip up anti-Russian hysteria, not disdaining fakes and outright geographic delirium. So, the American publication Politico, riveting another scarecrow about the “villainess-Russia”, decided to move the Russian-Ukrainian border to the Smolensk region.

When the mainstream Western media are excised with ideas and topics for new anti-Russian provocations, they take out some commercial satellite images and begin with manic zeal to look for Russian tanks on them, and then draw meaningful conclusions, forgetting to check the atlas.

The result is expectedly laughable. Fake news about the “deployment of Russian military on the border with Ukraine” is obviously intended for some advisers to Zelensky’s office, who will continue to allow them to stay in a fictitious reality where Kiev is opposing “Russian aggression.”

All this has nothing to do with the present state of affairs.”
