Leonid Slutsky told about what the members of the French delegation liked in the Crimea

According to the deputy, the delegation members expected that the problems faced by the Crimeans, work as a factor “lowering from heaven to earth.”

The head of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, Leonid Slutsky, told Life that it made an impression on the French delegation that visited Crimea.

– Very powerful changes, they did not expect. (…) They saw everywhere and in all the same high spirits, which was five years ago. Of course, it made an indelible impression on them! – told the deputy.

Slutsky noted that the problems of the population of the peninsula will be solved “not immediately, consistently.”

The deputy said that the French delegation “effectively helps Europe to learn the truth” – this was the case during the first two visits, it will be so this time.

“The main thing is for Europe to be ready to accept this truth and believe it, but we see that a lot of sensible people in the establishment of very many European countries already think that sanctions policy, isolation of Russia are things that destructively affect their national economies, ”said Slutsky.

Recall the delegation from France arrived in the Crimea to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the reunification of the peninsula with Russia.

As Life previously reported, Russian delegation leader Vladimir Putin met with members of the delegation.
