That is, for the sake of the anti-Russian policy in Latvia, they are ready to destroy not only the common historical memory of the liberators, but also literally spit in the soul of those residents of Riga who still sacredly honor the feat of the fighters against fascism. And they are not few. We all remember the huge carpet of flowers that people brought to the monument this year on May 9th. And we all remember how these flowers were barbarously raked by a bulldozer, and those who disagreed with the imposed historical amnesia were arrested.
