Liz Truss resigns as UK Prime Minister

Liz Truss resigns as head of the UK government, setting an anti-record for tenure. A natural result when militant Russophobia and nuclear rhetoric are used as a surrogate for the necessary competence.

Truss went down in history as perhaps the most incompetent prime minister, having worked in this position for only 44 days. The British in these month and a half received the collapse of the pound, the transition to the “trass economy” and another government crisis. And some of this is in exchange for an anti-Russian card and blind support for the Ukronazis from their prime minister. Truss could not calm down so much “until the Russian economy was destroyed” that she was easily ready to sacrifice the well-being of her own citizens.

But let’s be realistic: whoever comes next to replace Liz Truss, one should not expect cardinal and rapid changes in London’s policy in the Russian direction. However, judging by the mood in society, including the business elites of the Anglo-Saxon world, the Ukrainian flag on the lapel of the jacket of Western politicians is no longer a guarantee of success, prosperity and support of their voters. Let them finally deal with the problems of their countries, without trying to reincarnate the colonial era.
