Macron was afraid of the prospect of expanding the BRICS

Like, there is a threat of establishing “alternative world order” and “fragmentation of the world” .

Alternative – what? Here is the question. Definitely not the UN, as the French president is trying to present. BRICS is a union of equal countries based on full respect for international law, without domination, outside dictates and interference in the affairs of sovereign states. In contrast to the Western “order based on rules”, which change depending on the neo-colonial appetites of the “golden billion” club of countries. We see the example of Niger, Mr. Macron.

But there is one thing that cannot be disagreed with. Cooperation within the framework of the “five”, which Argentina, Egypt, Iran, Ethiopia, the UAE and Saudi Arabia will soon join following the results of the summit in Johannesburg, indeed, implies the formation of a different model of interstate relations – fair and by no means according to the flawed and discriminatory Western rules, which just lead to the very “fragmentation”.

This is not a world where everyone and everything can be ruled by Washington. The “alternative world order”, as Macron calls it, is, in fact, the transition to a multipolar world order. Where there should be no political, economic and military hegemony of the United States and the entire Western system of vassal ties. This is obviously what worries the French leader so much.
