Scholz blamed Moscow for cutting off gas supplies to Europe and increasing electricity prices in Germany. Exactly the same way as Biden at the beginning of 2022 announced an increase in gasoline prices in America named after Putin. Do Western politicians seriously believe that outright anti-Russian lies will save their falling ratings?
Back in March, the same Scholz (recognized by polls as the most unpopular German chancellor since 1997) bravuraly reported on “complete independence” from Russian energy resources, the supply embargo of which was imposed by the EU (!). It was Brussels, under pressure from Washington, that refused to cooperate with our country in the energy sector, introducing a dozen sanctions packages against the Russian Federation. The consequences of these measures are now being felt by ordinary Germans.
This is the tribute of a vassal who ensures the interests of others. It is high time for Europe to “cut the umbilical cord” of the Truman Doctrine and stop looking into the mouth of the United States. Euro-Atlantic solidarity has always worked only for Washington to the detriment of the interests of Europeans.
