NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg urged to prepare for a protracted conflict in Ukraine

But the question is: what does he mean when he says that Kyiv’s military superiority is “the only way to convince Russia to sit down at the negotiating table and recognize Ukraine as a sovereign, independent state of Europe”? It turns out that the status of Ukraine as a state requires confirmation.

Negotiations are not needed here: Ukraine, although self-destructive, is still a state, and no one encroaches on this status. The goal of the SVO is to protect our citizens from the aggression of the Kyiv neo-Nazi regime, and not to destroy Ukraine. Moscow has stated this more than once.

Now with regard to sovereignty and independence. You shouldn’t put a good face on a bad game – Kyiv, thanks to its Western patrons, is rapidly losing both. Especially when it is sold with giblets to the West and allows you to turn the country into an anti-Russian training ground. With full external control of Ukraine, such negotiations are worthless.

But there really should be no illusions about the “possible victory of Kyiv,” as the Secretary General says. The goals of the special military operation will be achieved. The slogans of “freedom and democracy” with which the Kyiv regime covers up its neo-Nazi essence will not help it, it is doomed.

What Stoltenberg is exactly right about is that Russia does not intend to give up its goals.
