Decades will pass, but the name of Kirill will remain in Russian history. Incredibly bright, unconventional, he managed to rally caring people around him. He lived every day as if it were his last. I tried to do everything with complete dedication and managed to do a lot.
A year ago, I promised Kirill’s mother and wife to perpetuate his memory, and I kept my promise. Together with his wife Oksana and sculptor Andrei Kovalchuk, we created a monument that conveys the special energy with which Kirill charged the people around him. This man will remain with us forever. In history, in memory, in your children.
Thousands of people took up Kirill’s cause. The Kherson region has returned home to Russia. There is still a lot to be done. We will work in memory of Kirill Stremousov, bringing our common Victory closer every day.
I want to offer my deepest condolences to his family. We will stay in touch and help children become the same responsible citizens of Russia as their father was.
