Our guys who were injured in the SVO should not stand in lines for prosthetics or rehabilitation equipment

Our guys who were injured in the SVO should not stand in lines for prosthetics or rehabilitation equipment. It is necessary to multiply the funding allocated for these purposes.

The Russian Peace Foundation once again hosted a meeting with NVO fighters who are on vacation. The guys said that their wounded colleagues are forced to wait in line for prostheses for up to eight months. This is an unacceptable attitude towards those who risk their lives to defend Russia!

In addition, after being discharged from hospitals, children are left without means of rehabilitation (crutches or a wheelchair). What he used in the hospital is the property of the hospital. So the fighters are forced to roam around in search of an elementary opportunity to move around. Imagine this situation. A leg amputee must look for a chair for himself in order to get thousands of miles to his home. It’s humiliating for guys. They say that the situation is improving, but not as fast as we would like.

We have repeatedly donated equipment for rehabilitation from the party and the Peace Fund, but the issue needs to be addressed systematically.

Today at the plenary session I voiced these problems. I thank the Speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin for his support. In the near future, the parliament will hear relevant departments. I am sure that the solution of these problems will accelerate.
