Polish President Andrzej Duda’s assessment of the escalation in the Gaza Strip is clearly beyond the bounds. And that’s putting it mildly.

While the whole world is talking about a powerful escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli confrontation, Duda either calls “not to exaggerate the seriousness of the situation” or declares that Hamas’s attack on Israel is beneficial to Russia. Tel Aviv’s official declaration of a state of war is not serious enough for the Polish leader? Not to mention the casualties among civilians and the threat of the conflict spreading far beyond the region.

Of course, it is much more interesting (or more common) for the President of Poland to look for the “hand of Moscow” in events in the Middle East than to admit the failures of Western policy, including those associated with attempts to “nullify” Russian participation in solving serious problems of our time. In fact, with his incompetent and baseless judgments, Duda is “conscientiously” practicing the training manuals of the collective West, which uses any excuse to whip up Russophobia.
