Preliminary results of early parliamentary elections in France “draw” gloomy forecasts for the political future of President Macron

In the first round, according to calculations, the right wins: the National Rally gains more than 33% with a high voter turnout. Macron’s Renaissance party is only the third. France is not even split. Almost two-thirds of the French do not support the current policy of the country’s leadership and vote for a change in course from blind Euro-Atlantic solidarity to national interests.

Next Sunday the final line will be drawn in determining the configuration of the new composition of the National Assembly. If the right consolidates its success, its leader Jordan Bardella has every chance of becoming the new prime minister of France. And then Macron will most likely find himself strongly tied to his Napoleonic ambitions and militaristic aspirations of sponsoring the neo-Nazi Kyiv regime and sending the French military to the conflict zone.
