The past few years have forced us to reconsider many economic processes, change relations with Western partners and mobilize the country’s internal resources. It must be recognized that the achieved result of economic growth of 3.6%, taking into account the unprecedented pressure from the collective West, is the main result of the Government’s work. The result is worthy, creating further opportunities for accelerated growth, attracting investment in key sectors of the economy, and expanding demand for domestic products in foreign and domestic markets. The result, which allows us to claim the role of the fourth economy in the world, is nevertheless not very understandable to the common person, who every day is faced with rising prices for food, goods, and fuel.
And we still continue to talk about low salaries for doctors and teachers, pensions on which one can only survive, and many other primary social needs that require attention and solutions not tomorrow, but yesterday.
Our priority is to eliminate disproportions in the economic development of regions. The key proposal of the LDPR to write off loans to constituent entities was supported by the President and will be implemented in the near future. We are talking about freeing up trillions of rubles, which will be used primarily for social needs: regional surcharges, construction of social institutions, reconstruction of utility networks. The LDPR faction in regional parliaments presented their proposals to the leadership of the constituent entities of Russia back in February.
At the federal level, we attracted experts and analyzed the results of the survey “Tell Slutsky the truth!”, which is more than a million questionnaires from all 89 regions. As a result, a matrix of specific measures and decisions was formed that will improve the quality of life of people in the regions. We have already submitted a comprehensive document to the Russian Government.
The results of the Government’s work in economic terms are successful, and we will strive to solve pressing social problems.
