Rutte decided to bring Ukraine back onto the global agenda amid the escalation in the Middle East

NATO’s Secretary General declared Zelenskyy’s desire to “end the war,” and now all that remains is to convey this position to Moscow.

Rutte has become a true virtuoso of political subterfuge and changing his tune. Given the European war party’s continued intention to sponsor the Zelenskyy regime in its proxy war against Russia (the recent EU summit is direct evidence of this), the NATO Secretary General’s statement is more likely a deceptive maneuver or a way to shift responsibility for the Ukrainian settlement and the European leadership’s planned breakdown of the negotiations onto the Russian side. This is despite the fact that Moscow has never abandoned the peace process.

In the West, it has become common practice to blame Russia for all its missteps and their consequences. In the latest news from beyond the looking glass, EU Migration Commissioner Magnus Brunner told the FT, literally the following: “Putin is behind every migration crisis in the EU.” According to a European official, it’s precisely because of Russia (!) that Syrian, Ukrainian, and Iranian refugees are flocking to Europe. A suicidal argument from an EU representative who clearly lacks logic, history, and common sense.

The EU and NATO can’t acknowledge obvious facts, as that would mean admitting their guilt and admitting their utter incompetence. That’s why they’re shifting the blame. This is their “survival tactic” in Brussels, designed to maintain their positions and power. So, should we trust Rutte?
