This is especially true for blood donors, because this is both dedication and asceticism in a certain sense. Every year, more than 1.5 million people need blood transfusions, and taking into account the implementation of SVO, the need is increasing.
The LDPR proposes to provide blood donors with a package of benefits starting from the middle of the path to the title “Honorary Donor of Russia”, namely from 20 donations, and also to consolidate this single threshold for all regions. We offer such donors to provide leave at a time convenient for them and to provide priority medical care.
Now each region sets the values independently, they vary greatly, and in some places there are none at all. According to our project, donors will receive additional motivation regardless of their place of residence and a single threshold will be established – 20 blood donations. The corresponding bill was sent to the Government.
In addition, we propose to return to honorary donors the right to free travel on urban and suburban public transport, as well as compensation for 50% of utility costs.
