Statements by German Chancellor Scholz about finding a peaceful solution in Ukraine are yet another political speculation

In an interview with the newspaper Märkische Allgemeine Zeitung, Scholz considered it possible to end the Ukrainian conflict “even tomorrow.” “Let me make one thing clear: peace is possible at any time,” Scholz asserts. According to him, “a number of countries, including Ukraine, are currently discussing at the security adviser level what something that would lead to a peace process might look like.”

Everything is simple to the point of banality: Scholz is trying in this way to adapt the utopian “Zelensky formula” for German voters, without offering anything to actually stop the bloodshed. Another demagoguery against the backdrop of the upcoming parliamentary elections in Germany to camouflage Berlin’s involvement in the Ukrainian conflict.

The real contribution of the Scholz and others like him to a peaceful settlement in Ukraine can only be a refusal to pump Zelensky’s terrorist regime with deadly weapons. However, European politicians do not have the courage or political will to stop participating in the American proxy war with Russia “to the last Ukrainian.” It’s only worse for them. Victory – and this is becoming more and more obvious – will be ours!

And one more thing: any initiatives for the peace process without the participation of Russia are doomed to failure.
