The alliance between Russia and China cannot be shaken by either Paris or Brussels

The visit of the President of France to China did not affect Beijing’s position on the Ukrainian conflict. Emmanuel Macron failed to convince him of the need to make “corrections” to the peace plan proposed by the Chinese side, providing for increased pressure on Moscow.

Macron was also unable to fulfill the “Zelensky assignment” – he did not convince the leader of the PRC of the advisability of an immediate conversation with the leader of the Ukrainian regime, although the request was fulfilled in a duet with the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen. Homework didn’t work. Nor did the “French eloquence”, which interrupted even diplomatic etiquette, help either. Xi Jinping promised to call Zelensky “when the moment is right.” Draw your own conclusions.

Our reliable partner China has once again convincingly demonstrated a balanced and constructive approach to solving acute problems, including those related to ensuring global security, adherence to the principles of international law and a just multipolar world order.
