This law is about people, spirit and faith in Russia, who have not been broken. Since 2014, the Nazis have been killing residents of the Donbass and Lugansk region, destroying homes and businesses.
From the very beginning, the LDPR, like other parties, has been involved in helping the Donbass. This is our sacred mission. We must do everything so that the Russian people return to normal life.
The bill, developed by the Liberal Democratic Party, provides for the establishment of the honorary title “Hero City of the Special Military Operation” for cities whose residents have made a significant contribution to the implementation of tasks during the JMD in the territories of the DPR and LPR from February 24, 2022 and in the territories of Zaporozhye and Kherson regions – from February 30 September 2022.
Commemorative steles depicting the coat of arms of the city will be installed in the hero cities, as well as museums dedicated to the heroic deeds and resilience of the inhabitants during the SVO will appear.
