The capture of Paris is a day of military glory for our Fatherland!

On March 31, 1814, the Russian army triumphantly entered Paris. Emperor Alexander I defeated Napoleon and destroyed the French desire for world domination.

All Europeans need to get it into their heads – Russia is capable of defeating any, even the most powerful army. It was so, it will be so! The great Zhirinovsky, who insisted on celebrating the date of the capture of Paris, spoke about this many times.

The LDPR has already proposed establishing a new day of military glory of Russia in honor of the victorious end of the Patriotic War of 1812, as well as in honor of the foreign campaigns of the Russian army in 1813-1814.
The goal of our initiative is to restore justice in relation to the Russian army, to our ancestors.
This is important for our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

We will continue to seek legislative registration of the celebration of this date, which should become truly national. We will introduce a corresponding bill.
