Canada, Japan and the United States, as well as the European Union, have joined the member states of the Council of Europe. It is planned to develop a “compensatory” mechanism, and in fact, to legalize the robbery of the confiscated funds of Russian citizens and companies that fell under illegal Western sanctions.
But at the same time, not a word about the Donbass. According to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, since 2014 Ukraine has caused damage to the LPR and DPR in the amount of 228 billion rubles. More than 126,000 residents, including about 24,000 children, have been recognized as victims. The list of losses from the atrocities of the junta and its Western patrons is far from complete.
I spoke more than once about the fact that the Council of Europe has become the waiting room of the European Union and NATO, as well as the “kingdom of double standards”. For 9 years, he did not care about these figures, nor the human tragedies behind them, nor the genocide of Russian-speaking citizens of Donbass, nor the revival of fascism on European territory. The insane policy of creating the “Anti-Russia” project in Ukraine caused such irreparable damage, including Europe, that it is difficult to take into account in any register. But we will do it!
