The European Parliament is against Orban and calls for depriving Hungary of its voting rights in the EU

Consensus and European unity are on the chopping block of American dictatorship. The reasoning in the next EP resolution is classically hypocritical: “deliberate, continuous and systematic efforts by the Hungarian government to undermine the fundamental values of the European Union.” The values that Brussels cares about are clearly stated in the EU treaty: “respect for human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law and respect for human rights, including the rights of persons belonging to minorities.” What’s wrong with Hungary on this list? A rhetorical question.

Budapest turned out to be guilty only of “daring” to oppose the course imposed from overseas on blind support for Ukraine at the expense of European taxpayers. We are talking about the politically damaging and economically unprofitable allocation of long-term financial assistance to Kyiv in the amount of 50 billion euros. Hungary took a position based, by the way, solely on national interests. Has the right to? Undoubtedly! According to all European standards. But…

European, but not double standards. And this time these double standards are aimed at a member of the European Union in order to please the Washington regional committee and line up their pockets for the continuation of the content of the “anti-Russia” project. Europe, with such a parliament, is one step closer to being a pawn of the United States on the geopolitical chessboard.
