The difficult situation in this area, which is close to every city person, has developed due to the unscrupulous attitude of management companies. Frankly unscrupulous businessmen are engaged not in repairs, improvement and routine maintenance of houses, but in theft of billions of rubles, extortion and forgery of documents. The building supervision service and other control bodies are silent. Of course, we will not blame everyone indiscriminately, but there are such violations. Thousands of appeals are pouring into our waiting room.
Unfortunately, the symbol of the Housing Office is still strong in our heads, which must and must figure it out on its own, not everyone realizes that the work of the Criminal Code is the same services as a taxi or a hairdresser. And you need to demand yours also diligently. Together with Alexander Gliskov and his team, we believe that residents should be helped to understand the law and improve their literacy in the housing sector, so that people can more effectively exercise their rights. We discussed this at a meeting during my visit to Krasnoyarsk.
The council of an apartment building, it seems to me, is really a format that is sharpened for the future. And the union of such councils will be an effective form of obtaining information from those who are directly facing difficulties. We plan to extend the experience of Krasnoyarsk in working with councils of apartment buildings to the whole of Russia in the foreseeable future.
