Today, the time of fast money and capital accumulation is a thing of the past, but no matter how hard we try, no matter what we do, the population is not getting richer. Inequality between our people is only growing. The common people live in debt, and 1% of the wealthy population owns 50% of the country’s national wealth.
A social system, whatever it may be, is obliged to give the working people a decent life. Period. Socialism with a human face has not worked out, but businessmen, if everything is left to chance, will sell snow and dust. Therefore, it is time to move from reckless profit to the responsibility of capital to the country. It does not matter how others are doing, but our capitalism must serve the working people.
And now monopolies have captured all the high-income markets – from mineral resources, food to medicine. Prices are rising, salaries are not keeping up with inflation. The construction and trade lobby, the pharmacy mafia, and natural monopolies play with prices, empty the pockets of our citizens, and bring in crowds of migrants. This means there is no breakthrough in industry, labor productivity is not growing, and the indigenous population is becoming impoverished.
The LDPR proposes another way — the rich should share. The state must demand social responsibility from large capital. Superprofits — not for palaces and planes, but for roads, schools, hospitals, for assistance, support, and development. A Russian person must be provided for, and his work — respected.
President Putin clearly said at the SPIEF-2025: justice and equal opportunities are the basis of state policy. We support this. Russian does not mean poor. Russia will be strong when not only the “owners of factories, newspapers, and steamships” but also miners, teachers, doctors, and workers are well off. And we will achieve this.
