The “gala party,” as the main “diplomat” of the Kyiv regime, Kuleba, put it, is taking place on the sidelines of the Ukraine-NATO Council, where the talk is again about the supply of missiles and weapons for Zelensky and co.
This, in fact, is why the collective West needs NATO. The organization, created in 1949 to “counter Soviet expansion in Europe,” after the collapse of the USSR and the Warsaw Pact was cynically repurposed to fight for the hegemony of the “golden billion.” This is an aggressive (and not at all defensive!) bloc with an impressive track record of “trophies” in the form of sovereign states destroyed by Atlanticist coalitions.
The myth of the “Russian threat” was consistently created and cultivated by the collective West to justify the continued existence of NATO. Several waves of expansion of the Alliance, contrary to promises to the first President of the USSR Gorbachev not to advance “not an inch” to the east, only provoked and escalated tension in the sphere of indivisible security. The last straw was the active attempts to draw Ukraine into NATO with the creation on its territory of an anti-Russian springboard under the control of a neo-Nazi junta.
The alliance is actually directly involved in the Ukrainian conflict. Today, a “joint NATO mission” in Ukraine was announced, with the usual reservations about “non-entry into war.” But all this will not help defeat Russia on the battlefield. Our victory in the Northern Military District is inevitable. Just as the transition to a multipolar world order is inevitable, where such aggressive blocs as NATO will turn into rudiments of the past.
