Of course, the upcoming resignation of Victoria Nuland from the post of Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs is an internal matter of the United States. However, all its activities went far beyond the limits of national jurisdiction and will be assessed, including by “external factors.”
Victoria Nuland can be called the American anti-muse of the Ukrainian song about “freedom and democracy.” Cheap “cookies” from her hands – literally and figuratively – in Kyiv fed the bloody Maidan of 2014, from which the neo-fascist regime grew. Nuland will forever be remembered as a provocateur of the Ukrainian conflict and an adherent of Russophobia.
The State Department is now talking about the “indispensability of Nuland’s efforts” on the Russian-Ukrainian track. Indeed, who else could so cynically set up and deceive the Ukrainians, pushing them into fratricidal massacre in a proxy war for American exceptionalism?
Nuland’s resignation is, in fact, an admission of the failure of the anti-Russian course of the current Biden administration. With all the ensuing consequences for her – and also for the Ukroführer.
