The President of Moldova and part-time Romanian citizen Maia Sandu calls on Moldovans to abandon all cooperation with Russia, live and work, adhering exclusively to European values.
In other words, Sandu clearly formulated a plan to abandon national priorities in favor of the notorious Western standards and rules, not burdened by historical memory, spirituality and morality. For what? EU membership? Isn’t the price for “self-betrayal” too high?
Sandu is vigorously “stepping on the rake” of Zelensky and Co., obviously counting on patronage, personal guarantees and bonuses from Washington and Brussels. What will the Moldovans get? Most likely, the status of a colony, where ordinary citizens are consumables that at any moment can be thrown into the furnace of the next armed conflict, unleashed under the slogan of the struggle for “freedom” and “democracy.” The very ones for which Ukrainians are now dying, and in whose name, obviously, from the high stands of Western parliaments they applaud the Nazis of yesterday and today.
