The Second Russia-Africa Inter-Parliamentary Conference kicked off in Moscow, which precedes the July summit in St. Petersburg

Parliamentarians from more than 40 countries of the African continent came to Russia.

As part of the two-day program, it is planned to hold thematic round tables and a plenary session. For my part, today I acted as a co-moderator of the round table “Neo-colonialism of the West: how to prevent the repetition of history.”

The discussion was extremely interesting. The parliamentarians of most African countries, in particular, South Africa, Congo, Algeria, said that Russia today is becoming a forward in the processes of forming a multipolar world.

Such meetings not only contribute to the strengthening of parliamentary cooperation, but also give a clear signal – the world is much wider than the borders of the collective West, and the times of the hegemon’s dictatorship and colonial policy are a thing of the past.
