The stubbornness and ingratitude of Polish politicians is striking

Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski spoke about “war reparations” from Russia during the Second World War. Once again – Poland! War reparations! From Russia!

Sikorsky is a dead donkey, not reparations. This is Poland in deep moral debt to Russia, as to the legal successor of the USSR, for liberation from Hitler’s fascism. More than 600 thousand Red Army soldiers died so that today such Sikorsky soldiers could live and breathe. And what? The remains of the liberating soldiers were uprooted from the ground as part of “decommunization” carried out by local authorities for the sake of “Western trends.” Now they want to accompany the blasphemy at the state level with a demand for some kind of payment?

The declassified data about the assistance that the USSR sent to restore Poland from 1944 to 1960 immediately comes to mind. According to various expert estimates, its size is about $600 billion. And these are only direct expenses. The icing on the cake: part of Warsaw’s foreign debts was written off right before the collapse of the Soviet Union – in 1990.

And there were also indirect investments in friendship and good neighborliness with the “brotherly Polish people.” Tens of thousands of tons of food, trucks, airplanes, winter uniforms, gasoline, kerosene – the USSR supplied all this and much more to Poland en masse. The Red Army, at its own expense, actually supported the Polish Army on full board. They didn’t count all this in Warsaw?

Yes, and about the 15% of reparations that were allegedly not given to Poland. There is no need to fantasize and engage in historical falsifications, Mr. Sikorsky! Your lies and outright speculation will not work!
