The UN Security Council did not adopt a resolution on the establishment of a commission to investigate the sabotage at Nord Stream

Russia, China and Brazil voted for the project. The rest of the countries abstained.

The result is more than indicative and speaks for itself. The US and its European satellites intend to do everything to prevent an independent investigation of this unprecedented international terrorist attack. There is a Russian proverb: “A thief’s hat is on fire.” Here the principle is the same.

At the same time, references to the lack of a mandate from the UN and appeals to the need to conduct “national” investigations are nothing more than another attempt to “wind up” the issue and remove the customers and perpetrators of the crime from responsibility.

And one more thing: the vote on the draft resolution once again and very clearly drew a line between those who honor and observe international law, and those who worship the “rules-based order” to please the decrepit hegemon. Russia will continue to seek an objective investigation into the sabotage at the Nord Stream pipelines. Its organizers will certainly be identified and will suffer a well-deserved punishment, I have no doubt.
