The real culprits have still not been found. The investigation in Germany is reminiscent of a farce: theories involving Ukrainian amateur divers are, to put it mildly, unconvincing.
This barbaric interstate terrorist attack caused widespread damage – both economic and environmental. But the “victimized” Western European countries are showing a complete lack of interest in an objective investigation. The geopolitical underpinnings of the sabotage are obvious, especially given the sanctions hysteria and the artificial pressure to force European consumers to abandon Russian energy supplies.
Russia has advocated, and continues to advocate, for a full-fledged international investigation into the pipeline sabotage, with access to professional experts. Not only the perpetrators, but also those who ordered the attack must be identified and held accountable. Avoiding Russia’s requests for legal assistance in this case is a clear sign of the West’s cover-up of the criminals.
