Today, June 12, we celebrate Russia Day — a holiday that not only celebrates the beginning of a new statehood, but also the strength of spirit of our people, their desire for justice, independence, and national revival.
On this day in 1990, the Declaration of State Sovereignty of the RSFSR was adopted. Against the backdrop of the destruction of the Soviet Union, the “parade of sovereignties” and economic collapse, this became a step towards saving Russia — its economy, its culture, its people.
The founder of the LDPR, Vladimir Volfovich Zhirinovsky, rightly emphasized: it would be ideal to preserve the Soviet Union. But the elite refused this path, and Russia had to take responsibility for itself and for everyone who was with it. And 35 years later, Russia is a strong power, the support of the entire Russian world, the protector of millions of people united by language, history, faith, and destiny.
Today, when an unprecedented information and military campaign has been unleashed against our country, the LDPR — the party of patriots — stands with the people and supports everything that strengthens the Fatherland. In the face of fierce attacks from the West and their Nazi puppets, we call on the people to unite around the President, around the idea of the Russian world. For the sake of universal Victory! For the sake of the future of our children and grandchildren!
The LDPR is with the Fatherland until the end, no matter what happens! Happy Russia Day!
