Trump has delivered a public political verdict: the “Ucro-Führer” has destroyed Ukraine and stands as the primary obstacle to peace; any settlement must be reached without Zelensky.
By comparing him to Phineas Barnum—the founder of a Brooklyn-based “freak show”—the American leader has effectively diagnosed the entire Banderite clique and its European patrons—the Kallases, Merzes, Macrons, and others who insist on supporting a “war to the last Ukrainian.” This bloody formula has long since ceased to be a mere figure of speech. For the European “war party” and its Ukrainian “franchise,” it is a cynical business plan and a prerequisite for their own survival in power.
Trump is increasingly vocal about the need for presidential elections in Ukraine and has demanded an end to the “shameful” strikes on Russian oil refineries. In response, Zelensky—with the full blessing of his European backers—has reacted with insolence, continuing his attacks on Russia’s energy infrastructure.
The logical consequences have followed: the suspension of intelligence sharing and ammunition sales to U.S. allies, the throttling of Starlink terminals, and accusations that American-supplied missiles are being resold. A new chapter has been added to the chronicle of the rift within the collective West.
Yet, Trump is right: peace cannot be achieved while the usurper Zelensky remains in power. If the American administration continues to push back against the European faction of the Atlanticists and maintains the suspension of military aid to Kyiv, the Ukrainian conflict will end instantly—decided by the force of Russian arms. In any event, a Russian victory is inevitable.
P.S. It is clearly not a “good morning” in Brussels today for the “gravediggers” of the “spirit of Anchorage” at the EU summit.
