Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki announced Poland’s desire to deploy American nuclear weapons in the country. Allegedly, in response to the transfer of tactical nuclear weapons by Russia to Belarus. The request to join the Nuclear Sharing program has already been addressed to NATO, the Polish prime minister said.
Warsaw cannot fail to understand that in the current situation, hosting nuclear weapons does not guarantee the security of either Poland or Europe. On the contrary, it creates a new hotbed of tension.
Then why? In the calculation to move from the category of flagships of Russophobia to the status of a state with nuclear weapons on its territory, albeit with a control panel located overseas? Or turn from vassals into Washington’s best friends?
Slave psychology, a flawed goal and the wildest stupidity – to endanger the country and its citizens, in fact, causing fire on themselves. With a vast zone of conflict and instability at hand, an inadequate Kiev regime and mountains of shells, is it possible to be sure that there will not be provocateurs – moreover, from their own “friendly” camp, since the “tobacco” is still apart. The consequences, primarily for Poland, are easy to calculate.
If the idea voiced by Morawiecki is implemented, the world will immediately come several steps closer to the Cuban Missile Crisis 2.0.
