Washington regional committee reached the WHO

The “Golden Billion” turns the World Health Organization (WHO) into an instrument for serving its political interests. At the 76th World Health Assembly in Geneva, an anti-Russian resolution on Ukraine was adopted. At the same time, only 80 countries out of 194 that are members of WHO voted for it. That is, a minority.

Where “legs grow” becomes clear from the list of initiators of the project: countries unfriendly to Russia that supported the bloody coup in Ukraine and the eight-year genocide of the population of Donbass. The same countries that at the same assembly blocked the adoption of the Russian-Syrian resolution against the politicization of the sphere of global cooperation in healthcare, as well as, for example, over and over again nullifying the discussion of threats to peace from the activities of US biological laboratories in Ukraine.

The resolution is stuffed with double standards. In all seriousness, Russia is being blamed for the worsening health situation in Ukraine. About the failed policy of the Kyiv regime to refuse vaccination and criminal experiments in the field of biodevelopment, of course, not a word. There is a substitution of concepts and a departure from real problems. Is it worth recalling the position of the WHO, which, under far-fetched pretexts, delayed the registration of Russian vaccines against COVID-19? The question is rhetorical.

Back in February, Head of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko spoke out categorically against leaving the WHO, calling for maintaining channels for communication and information exchange. Nevertheless, representatives of various political forces, including from the rostrum of the State Duma, are increasingly doubting this. The next anti-Russian attacks, I am sure, will lead to a serious aggravation of the discussion in our society about the advisability of Russia’s continued presence in the organization.
