We met with a group of MEPs led by Fernand Cartheiser (Luxembourg) on the sidelines of the BRICS-Europe Forum

These courageous people were not afraid to come to Russia again, despite the enormous pressure and threats at the level of European structures and a number of national governments in the Old World.

They exchanged assessments and views on the issues of the Russia-EU track, including the military hysteria being fanned by the Eurohawks, the artificial prolongation of the Ukrainian conflict by the “war party,” the protection of historical truth and traditional values, and the prospects for a possible restoration of dialogue, no matter how utopian it may sound. Europeans are far from united in their attitude to the Russophobia imposed on them by the Brussels establishment. More and more European politicians are “awakening” to the need to cooperate with Russia as the largest country on our shared European continent.

I would like to thank Fernand Cartheiser and all his colleagues for their professional and objective exchange of views. We will continue to expand, develop, and make our format permanent. We are in favor of dialogue.
