We continue to actively prepare for the 80th anniversary of the birth of the Great Russian patriot Vladimir Volfovich Zhirinovsky. I held a meeting with Sergei Vadimovich Stepashin, a member of the organizing committee for the preparation of the anniversary of the Founder of the LDPR, the President of the Russian Book Union.
Among the planned joint events, we planned to publish a biography of the founder of the LDPR, in which we will try to reveal the significance of the personality of a unique politician and statesman in the formation and strengthening of modern Russia. In addition to organizational and technical issues, we have decided on the author of the book, whose name I will announce later.
The day also brought other pleasant and important meetings – with the Minister of Construction and Housing and Utilities Irek Envarovich Faizullin, a colleague in the faction and the first deputy chairman of the relevant Duma committee Vladimir Alekseevich Koshelev, we discussed the upcoming trip to the Samara Region, as well as a number of significant infrastructure projects in the areas of housing and communal services and construction.
Today, the region demonstrates serious achievements in the implementation of national projects, and investment growth in key sectors of the economy is noted. In February, we already met in Moscow with the Governor of the Samara Region Vyacheslav Andreevich Fedorishchev and discussed the prospects for further cooperation. Next week, at his invitation, we will visit the Samara land.
