But what about “victory over Russia on the battlefield” and the legislative ban on negotiations? The weakening of the imperatives in the Ukrofuhrer’s rhetoric should be considered in the context of the general situation, that is, taking into account the noticeable fatigue of the beneficiaries of the conflict from the Ukrainian “black hole” and new factors of influence. This is, first of all, a shift in attention on the world agenda to the Middle East, the internal political situation in the United States, as well as the depletion of the financial capabilities of the collective West to help Kyiv.
There can be no talk of any victory for Ukraine. The bets on Russia’s weakening are lost. The “bloody clown” must understand this, despite the ongoing declarative visits of Westerners to Kyiv. There is only one way left – to ask for peace and negotiations, as Zelensky once did in February 2022. And it is unlikely that this peace will be on Ukrainian terms.
