The Liberal Democratic Party has already submitted to the State Duma a bill to double the EDV, but the document has not yet been adopted.
At the meeting, party leader Leonid Slutsky instructed to intensify work on the document so that by the end of the year it would still receive the support of all parliamentary factions.
“We will work on the issue of increasing the Monthly cash payment to veterans once again. We will talk in detail with relevant departments in order to remove possible issues in advance, and by the end of the year we will submit them to the State Duma from all factions with an eye to adoption. I am sure everyone will support this idea,” said the head of the LDPR faction.
