At a press conference in TASS, my colleagues and I spoke about the results of the All-Russian LDPR survey on rural development and presented our program for the development of rural areas “Back to the Village”.

The village is emptying, young people are leaving. There are no jobs, no creative spaces, no infrastructure, and targeted projects will not solve the problem. In order to populate the undeveloped territories of the country and breathe life into abandoned villages, it is necessary to increase the share of the rural population by at least 35% by 2030.

Conditions are needed, then people, especially young people, will choose life in rural areas themselves. After all, life in the village means a large family and comfortable conditions for raising children.

The LDPR proposes to stimulate the creation of jobs in rural areas. We will launch our own project “LDPR.Business” and teach rural youth entrepreneurship.
To make it easier to start a business, we consider it necessary to establish a zero interest rate for entrepreneurs who create jobs in small towns and villages.

The mortgage rate for rural residents should be qualitatively reduced. The country should have a separate program for the development of individual housing construction in rural areas.

Rural residents need comfortable transport. We propose to support carriers and abolish the transport tax for them, especially if they transport students to schools. It is necessary to introduce a travel card for rural children in order to remove transport costs from the family budget.

Children should study where they live. Obviously, a moratorium should be introduced on the closure of schools with more than 10 students.

There are still many measures and projects in our program that we will implement.
