Developed transport infrastructure in Primorye will help develop the country’s economy

We continue our working trip to the Far East. Today we are working in Vladivostok. We discussed with the Governor of the Primorsky Territory Oleg Nikolaevich Kozhemyako the development of transport infrastructure and interaction with regional and city LDPR deputies to solve problems that are significant for Primorye.

The key for the region today is the completion of the construction of the Vladivostok-Nakhodka highway in 2024. We will discuss this most important issue at the “government hour” with Deputy Prime Minister Marat Shakirzyanovich Khusnullin.

Met with the management and employees of the Vladivostok sea trade port, the largest in Russia today. Due to sanctions, the turnover of goods here increased by 40% last year. The port management successfully solves high-load problems through process automation and its own unique technological developments. Nevertheless, the logistics infrastructure of the macroregion requires additional efforts for development, including from the federal center.

It is necessary to obtain funding for the Vladivostok ring road project, which provides for the construction of a route along the Amur Bay and connection with the transport network of Russky Island. The LDPR faction in the State Duma will join in resolving the issue.

The role of the Far Eastern Federal District and coastal ports is increasing significantly. We will include the systematic development of transport infrastructure in the development program of the Far East.
