Leonid Slutsky, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, received the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Algeria to Russia, Djamel Toufik.
Leonid Slutsky noted the depth and effectiveness of bilateral relations between Russia and Algeria. “Many countries in the world are vying for influence in Algeria. But we have very deep and very effective relations. We maintain a dialogue in many areas,” said the committee chairman. At the same time, Slutsky expressed his support for the further development and strengthening of mutual dialogue.
Ambassador Djamel Toufik, in turn, assured that Russia is an important partner for Algeria.
