Russia, together with the BRICS countries, needs to establish its own scientific prize – an alternative to the Nobel Prize

Which will recognize Russian and foreign scientists for outstanding achievements in the field of fundamental sciences. We must understand, and this especially concerns talented Russian scientists, that the Nobel Prize has discredited itself.

We discussed this idea with Gennady Yakovlevich Krasnikov, President of the Russian Academy of Sciences. We will start working on it in the near future.
The founders may be structures from the BRICS countries, similar to the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Such a prize will strengthen the position of Russian science and demonstrate its openness, despite restrictions and prohibitions.

I am confident that great Russia will give the world new geniuses who will continue the glorious traditions of Lomonosov, Mendeleyev, Pirogov, Sechenov, Kurchatov, Korolev. The modern generation of our scientists will make discoveries that will serve to strengthen the power of the Russian state and create the best conditions for the development of each person. And the scientific decade announced in 2022 by the President of Russia will become key in the breakthrough technological development of our country for the sake of future generations.
