Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Viktorovich Lavrov today, on the eve of the Government Hour, answered questions from State Duma deputies as part of an extended meeting of the Committees on International Affairs, the CIS and Relations with Compatriots and Control. This is the first time we have gathered in this format.

We examined current issues of Russian foreign policy in the context of the formation of a new world order. They talked about the futility of the West’s attempts to maintain dominance, the processes of formation of new world centers of influence and the development of integration structures, primarily BRICS. The discussion took place behind closed doors.

A government hour with the participation of Sergei Lavrov is scheduled in the State Duma on February 14.
