Students in every region must have equal opportunities for education

“It’s hard to focus on your studies when you have to work several side jobs just to afford food”—I heard this remark at an international festival in Yekaterinburg. Yet, similar sentiments could be voiced at almost any gathering of young people and students.

The challenges are the same for everyone. I saw this firsthand during meetings in Blagoveshchensk and Samara, as well as at the “Territory of Meanings” forum. These complaints aren’t just for statistics—they shape our work. These appeals form the basis of the LDPR’s specific demands regarding student support:

1) a stipend no lower than the minimum wage—that is, just over 27,000 rubles per month;

2) a unified quality standard for dormitories nationwide. Students at any university or vocational college deserve clean, well-maintained rooms where they can study and rest in peace;

3) equal opportunities to work in modern educational and scientific laboratories, regardless of the specific institution or region.

We must create favorable conditions for anyone wishing to study in their home country and become a skilled professional. The LDPR will ensure that students across the country have the resources and opportunities to study effectively and master their chosen professions.
