The LDPR will work and seek the support of voters in the Chechen Republic

Today in Grozny a conference of the regional branch of the party was held, for the first time in many years. The Coordinating Council and its leader were elected.

The event was attended by 27 delegates and more than 350 guests of honor, including State Duma deputies and representatives of the North Caucasian and southern regions of Russia, including Donetsk.

The Coordinating Council included prominent scientists, representatives of sports organizations and the public of Chechnya. On the recommendation of the Supreme Council of the LDPR, the President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic, Dzhambulat Vakhidovich Umarov, was elected to the post of Coordinator of the Chechen regional branch.

Thanks to the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, for his support. When we were in the Republic this summer, Ramzan Akhmatovich positively assessed party plans, wishing the Liberal Democratic Party ” take a firm position as the number two party in Russia.” We are moving towards this goal.
