On March 31, 1990, our party broke the ice of the one-party system and the monopoly of the Communist Party on power. We became the first non-state, truly popular political force. And the whole world learned the name of Vladimir Volfovich Zhirinovsky – the greatest politician of our time.
More than three decades have passed since then. Our principles remain unchanged – this is the protection of Russian people, assistance to those in need, strengthening of statehood and the armed forces, the struggle for the economic and technological development of the country.
We are getting stronger – today the party already has more than 400 thousand people, and this number is growing daily. The LDPR has become the second political force in the country.
The party will never stray from the path that our Founder Vladimir Volfovich Zhirinovsky showed.
