We are working with the LDPR team on Samara land. Together with the governor of the region Vyacheslav Andreevich Fedorishchev, we visited the research and production center of unmanned aircraft systems of the Transport of the Future company. There, UAVs are manufactured on their own industrial assets, and domestic components are also produced. We got acquainted with the most advanced technologies and highly qualified specialists who successfully solve unmanned aviation problems on a national scale.
I believe it is important to create career guidance centers based on such enterprises, where SVO fighters who have returned from the front can undergo retraining. Our task is to make the UAV industry as career-oriented as possible for them. Think about it, today more than 700 thousand soldiers are involved in the operation, many of them operate drones. But professionals in their combat use are guaranteed to become skilled specialists for the peaceful use of drones. Having mastered the in-demand specialties in the field of UAVs, veterans will quickly find employment in such areas as agriculture, monitoring forest fires, cargo delivery and many others. The LDPR will facilitate this process in every possible way. This will benefit both the fighters and our economy as a whole.
We will also introduce an initiative to exempt UAV manufacturers from income tax, as well as reduce their property taxes and insurance premiums to 7-10%. This approach will significantly reduce the cost of production, its scale will increase, which will provide work for the guys returning from the SVO.
Let me remind you that the LDPR is the only political party that launched the Drone Laboratory project. It has become a unique party center of competence in UAVs, providing components, consumables and special equipment to combat assembly points and drone configuration directly on the line of combat contact.
